But, Max and Furiosa, nonetheless, charge towards the perilous challenge head on and come out in the end with a few cuts and bruises.

The native 4K image on Mad Max The Road Warrior is a huge improvement, very well detailed, bright, vivid colouring, almost ‘hot’, and strong blacks, while the Dolby Atmos track is immersive, detailed with good effects and strong bass. But, after liberating five female captives from Joe's clutches, she too must escape from the crazy gang leader and his henchmen.

Mad Max roared into cinemas like a fuel-injected suicide machine, splattering the silver screen with bloody vengeance, modified-car mayhem, and a bleak vision of a post-apocalyptic future. However, there is some improved visibility within the shadows and darkest corners but again, not by much.

Ever since he burst onto our screen in 1979 there has been something about the man that deserves respect. However, I went opening night and left with jaw hanging to the floor, and unfortunately it was not out of awe and amazement.Mad Max, The Road Warrior and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome discs present a native 3840 x 2160p resolution image with Mad Max being in widescreen 2. Falling into an encampment led by the relatively peaceful Pappaga llo (Mike Preston), Max at first schemes to steal their oil, but soon becomes the group’s reluctant defender against the hulking Humungus (Kjell Nilsson) and his ruthless marauders. Mel Gibson is ideally cast as Mad Max making the character very much his own (sorry Tom Hardy); he’s a loyal family man but after his friend Jim Goose (Steve Bisley) is left for dead by a group of thugs led by the crazed Toecutter (Hugh Keays-Byrne) Max wants out of the police force before it destroys his life too. Cars and motorcycles screech overhead, flawlessly panning from behind, above and to the front without a hitch.

Sequels are traditionally seen as bigger and louder extensions of their predecessors, and 'Fury Road' is ultimately no different, taking the insanity that has been building over the course of three movies to gloriously thrilling heights. By the end of the movie you can see their growth and their trust in each other forming, but if you're just paying attention to the words you'd never see that. Bass has been beefed up to give vehicles and impacts some significant heft, gunshots also benefit, the rumble of the truck is room shaking. From start to finish, much like the film itself, the Dolby Atmos is incessant and relentless, delivering a remarkable 360° soundscape fans will absolutely love and will probably repeatedly listen to.We’re proud to promote an environment that allows for discourse benefiting everyone (newcomers to the experienced) and owners of all levels of gear (affordable to the high-end) while encouraging open and friendly conversation. You can hear the shifting of gears up in the front of the room, only to hear a bullet plink off the back of the truck from the left year, or the pop of a tire over your right shoulder. I can't say that I'm as enamored with Mad Max: Fury Road as the rest of the cinematic community, but after watching it several times, I've picked up on the nuances that really make the story quite fun. The nature of this film allows for some decent overhead effects: the plane attack in the beginning with its strafing, the entire Thunderdome fight, what with cheering crowds and clanging steel being of particular note. It is pure carnage in the form of entertainment, amping up the villainy, the mayhem, the stunts, the very stakes, and it is utterly fantastic.
