You may have noticed on Twitter and YouTube that I’ve been chatting a lot about Charlotte Crosby’s 3 Minute Belly Blitz fitness DVD. We are told at the start to follow David for easier options but we aren’t actually shown the moves, for me I believe this could of done with a show through because I spent the first round getting my head around what I needed to do. The 7-Minute Workout: A series of bodyweight exercises performed in quick succession for 30 seconds each, with 10 seconds of rest in between. Onto the front to isolate the bum again with leg presses – 3 times round and your bottom will hurt and if it doesn’t, wait until the next day!

By doing this I know I’ve trained hard, burnt calories on an empty stomach and if I don’t get a chance to do anything else I know I’ve done something active!I used to do the Jillian Michaels ones all the time, when I was persistent I got so fit, I really need to get back into it again!

The weather is getting nicer and I want to feel I can enjoy this summer being active and healthy and full of beans! The idea of 3 minute exercise increments sounds like a pipe dream, I did think can this actually work? I am so so so proud of what we have created for you… a place of motivation, team work, support and not forgetting CALORIE BUSTING workouts.

Both workout DVDs are based around high intensity interval training (HIIT), they ensure it is a full body workout and each session has options for beginners or more advanced exercisers. Excerpts and links may be used, provided that full and clear credit is given to Emma Pond and Miss Pond with appropriate and specific direction to the original content. They use weighted gloves, but I'm not going to attempt this until I'm more familiar with the routines. The workouts aim to get your heart pumping fast for three minutes, then allowing it to rest before the next round.

Interval number 3 for targeting of the abs in the form of c-sits with leg kick outs – of course you have an easier option but they’re still tough. A pair of Dumbbells at a comfortable weight for you (Charlotte uses 3-4kg) (Coach Richard used 8-10kg).I could see more definition in my abs, and my fitness levels improved, but the biggest thing was it actually gave me a really good defined waist! I don’t usually go for fitness DVDs but the mixture of 3 minute HIIT/cardio workouts can easily fit into my day.
