South Africa’s Western Cape and Chile’s Central Coast in particular offer incredible-value wines that should not be overlooked.Still youthful, intense and showing some tannic structure, it’s a superb, bone-dry expression of Constantia with notes of grapefruit pith, elderflower and wet stones. Vinification is followed by maturation on the fine lees for several months before the wine is finally bottled.
