About this deal

But I can live with that, especially since it seems more of an evening fragrance than the daily workhorse variety. I just sprayed it earlier for the first time so still letting it evolve and dry down, but honestly, so far this is a very, very nice flanker which stands on its own, as it really doesn’t resemble the ADG edt as much as the other two mentioned above.

The bergamot and lemon are two opening prominent notes, sharp, slightly sweet, very sour and fresh; the sea notes come across as slightly salty and evocative of oceanic breeze; the seaweed is not prominent initially but it develops adding a noticeable mildly salty, and marine note that with the sea notes create a noticeable oceanic accord. I don’t know why it is hated the most among the fragrance community as it resembles of Invictus but in my opinion it smells much better than it. Then the weather changed and I tried it on a 45-55 degree day, oversprayed like normal cause it never lasts more then 3-4 hours.I'm getting projection pushing out at least an arm length and a half, and sillage is a good 6 to 10 ft behind me when walking according to my wife. The woods are also noticeable, they create a slightly resinous, ambery sweet, and fine wood-like scent. Created by Alberto Morillas, the composition of this aftershave is a powerful and sophisticated alliance of woody notes softened by a fresh aquatic signature. I sprayed it at about 8 am and could smell it on my wrist till 11 pm, but at that point, it almost had this rubber tire smell which was weird but it wasn't exactly bad.

I get a bit more of a floral touch from this one, reminding me just a tiny bit of YSL L’Homme in the fact they both have a slightly warm, masculine floral touch to them. The seaweed note really throws this scent in a weird direction for me, especially compared to the original Absolu (which I love). I believe a year or so after initial release they tweaked the formula, and I think this is one of the rare instances where a reform actually improved the fragrance. Heck, my step brother wore the EDT religiously and yeah I got a bottle back then to stick with the crowd. I like it as well its my new hot weather freshy if only Fine Accoutrements made a high quality EdP version of their Fine Fresh Vetiver.

This fragrance would be better described as "ninja mode" - the scent is elusive when you're trying to track it down and attacks you (gently) when you least expect it. Like his models, Armani cosmetics and perfumes are synonymous with quality, timelessness and success. It opens up with like semi sweet fresh citrusy, fruity , green and floral notes in the background then dry down is sweet ambery, woody.

This fragrance is underrated in my opinion👌🏽 Smells like a fresh/spicy version of the original Absolu. To put it simply, it’s a very nice spicy fragrance with a soft sweetness woven throughout and a noticeable touch of AdG’s trademark aquatic notes leaving a subtle, watery trail. If you compare it with Acqua Di Gio line , it's Unique but with the market is not , Overall, it has high quality composition. I don’t know to whom it’s targeted … If to younger men … Invictus, Million or CK One are much, much better in longevity and performance and more unique as well.

Please note that this service might transfer the data outside of the EU/EEA and to a country without the required data protection standards. After a few wearings, my nose was able to pick out the lemon and bergamot citrusy and aqua freshness, along with the amber and ebony🪵 notes. That sweetness is toned down in Instinct, and its' drydown is classier smelling with the subtle smokiness in the woods, whereas Absolu's drydown is kind of odd to me. This is the true dark blue of the ADG flankers, something that is still appropriate year-round but would really shine in the fall.
